Abstract
Se refiere, en parte, al hallazgo de que la presencia de impurezas en el 1,1,2,3-tetracloropropeno (1230xa) da como resultado la inestabilidad del catalizador durante la fluoración de 1230xa a 2-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno. Al eliminar sustancialmente las impurezas, se ha demostrado que se extiende la vida útil del catalizador y esto da como resultado una optimización de la eficiencia operativa de la reacción de fluoración. Dichos pasos resultan, de un modo similar, en una mejoría generalizada en la producción de ciertas hidrofluoroolefirias, en particular 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropeno (1234yf). Reivindicación 1: Un producto base para usar en la preparación de una fluoroolefina, que comprende una composición, la cual comprende 1,1,2,3-tetracloropropeno, que se encuentra sustancialmente libre de impurezas. Reivindicación 21: Un proceso para preparar 2-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno, que comprende: proveer una composición de partida, la cual comprende al menos un compuesto de la fórmula (1): CX₂=CCl-CH₂X (1) en el cual X se selecciona, de un modo independiente, entre F, Cl, Br e I, con la condición de que al menos una X no sea flúor y en el cual la composición de partida se encuentra sustancialmente libre de impurezas y poner en contacto la citada composición de partida con un agente fluorante, para producir una composición final que comprenda 2-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno. Reivindicación 63: Un proceso para preparar 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoroprop-1-eno que comprende: proveer una composición de partida que comprende un compuesto de la fórmula (1): CX₂=CCl-CH₂X (1) en la cual X se selecciona, de un modo independiente, entre F, Cl, Br e I, con la condición de que al menos una X no sea flúor y que la composición de partida se encuentre sustancialmente libre de impurezas; poner en contacto la citada composición de partida con un primer agente fluorante para producir una primera composición intermedia que comprenda 2-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropeno; poner en contacto dicha primera composición intermedia con un segundo agente fluorante, para producir una segunda composición intermedia que comprenda 2-cloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropano; y deshidroclorar al menos una porción de dicho 2-cloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropano para obtener un producto de reacción que comprenda 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoroprop-1-eno.
