Abstract
Un artículo, tal como una pieza de desgaste con revestimiento reforzado, incluye un sustrato, una cápsula de metal laminado conectada con el sustrato para definir una cavidad entre la superficie del sustrato y la cápsula, y un material compuesto que rellena la cavidad y que forma un revestimiento sobre al menos una parte de la superficie del sustrato, el material compuesto incluye un material duro en partículas infiltrado con un material para soldadura metálica. La cápsula se puede conectar con el sustrato mediante soldadura o soldadura con el sustrato, y puede gastarse durante el uso.
