Abstract
Métodos y sistemas para producir continuamente composiciones con formación de espuma de polvos, gránulos, y/o particulado y/o polvos, gránulos, y/o particulados que contienen gas de presión alta. Los métodos y sistemas se configuran para reducir costos de energía y tiempo de procesamiento total y, en consecuencia, proporcionan ventajas respecto de los procesos discontinuos previos que tienen tiempos de aumento de temperatura y enfriamiento largos debido a las desventajas de usar un vaso de presión grande.Reivindicación 1: Un método de fabricación continua de una composición formadora de espuma a presión de gas alta, caracterizado porque comprende: adición de una partícula a una zona de pre-presurización y aumentar la presión del gas a aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 3100 psi para formar una partícula presurizada efectiva para crear uno de los pasajes, grietas, o poros, y una mezcla de estos en la partícula; transferencia de la partícula presurizada a una zona de calentamiento, separada de la zona de pre-presurización, donde la zona de calentamiento está operando a aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 3100 psi de presión del gas y avanzar continuamente la partícula presurizada a lo largo de la zona de calentamiento a una tasa y durante un tiempo efectivo para aumentar la temperatura de la partícula presurizada por encima de su temperatura de transición vítrea para formar una partícula calentada; transición continua de la partícula calentada desde la zona de calentamiento a través de una zona de transición que opera a aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 3100 psi de presión del gas; transferencia de la partícula calentada desde la zona de transición a una zona de enfriamiento, separada de la zona de calentamiento y la zona de transición, la zona de enfriamiento que opera a aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 3100 psi de presión del gas y avance continua de la partícula calentada a través de la zona de enfriamiento a una velocidad y durante un tiempo efectivo para descender la temperatura de la partícula calentada por debajo de su temperatura de transición vítrea para formar una partícula enfriada; movimiento de la partícula enfriada a una zona de presurización, separada de la zona de enfriamiento, para descender la presión del gas de aproximadamente 20 a aproximadamente 3100 psi a presión ambiente para formar una partícula despresurizada y enfriada; y liberación de la partícula de presurizada y enfriada de la zona de despresurización para formar la composición de partícula espumante que tiene gas atrapado presurizado restante en ella.
