Abstract
Los métodos y aparatos para la extinción de incendios pasiva, no eléctrica y de doble etapa, de acuerdo con los diversos aspectos de la presente solicitud, incluyen detectar un incendio con una primera unidad de extinción activa y cambiar el estado de una segunda unidad de extinción de “en espera” a “activo” cuando la primera unidad de extinción libera un agente extintor de incendios. Después de que la primera unidad de extinción ha liberado su agente extintor, la segunda unidad de extinción puede detectar un incendio continuado y/o nuevo y liberar un segundo agente extintor en respuesta a la detección.
