Abstract
Un método para aumentar el rendimiento vegetal en plantas cultivadas en condiciones de crecimiento no estresantes respecto del rendimiento en las correspondientes plantas de tipo salvaje cultivadas en condiciones comparables, en donde el método comprende preferentemente aumentar la actividad en el citosol de una célula vegetal de un polipéptido símil DnaJ tipo I o su homologo. Uno de dichos métodos comprende introducir y/o expresar en una planta, parte de planta o célula vegetal un ácido nucleico símil DnaJ tipo I o sus variantes. La presente también se refiere a plantas transgénicas cultivadas en condiciones no estresantes en las que se ha introducido y/o expresado un ácido nucleico símil DnaJ tipo I o sus variantes, en donde las plantas tienen aumento de rendimiento vegetal respecto de las correspondientes planas de tipo salvaje cultivadas en condiciones comparables. La presente también se refiere a construcciones utiles en los métodos de la presente.
