Abstract

Resina de polietileno que tiene una distribución de peso molecular multimodal, una densidad de 0,925 a 0,950g/cm3; un índice de fusión (I2) de 0,05 a 5 g/10 minutos; y comprende por lo menos un interpolímero de etileno de elevado peso molecular (HMW) con por lo menos uno o más interpolímeros de etileno, de densidad de 0,910 a 0,935 g/cm3, índice de fusión de 1,0 g/10 minutos o menor; y por lo menos un polímero de etileno de bajo peso molecular (LMW) con por lo menos uno o más polímeros de etileno de densidad de0,945 a 0,965 g/cm3, índice de fusión de al menos 2,0 g/10 minutos. Composición que comprende dicha resina. Artículo formado que comprende la resina o la composición; en particular un tubo para agua caliente, operable a temperaturas de más de 40°C, satisfaciendo preferentemente la norma ISO10508. Se aplica en películas o en tuberías para distribución de agua fría o caliente y gas, recuperación de calor y alimentación a radiadores, en forma durable y confiable.
