Abstract
Aparato quemador compacto con bajo contenido de NOx y métodos para descargar mezclas de aire y gas combustible en hornos donde se combustiona una mezcla en patrones de llama plegada y se forman gases de combustión con bajo contenido de NOx. Un aparato quemador de la invención consta básicamente de una cubierta con un quemador unido a la misma, y medios para introducir aire en la misma. La teja del quemador posee una pequena abertura con una pared que rodea dicha abertura que se extiende en un horno. Las caras externas de la pared se dividen en secciones mediante tabiques ubicados en forma radial con secciones alternadas con iguales o diferentes altura e inclinación hacia la abertura. El gas combustible primario mezclado con gases de combustión y aire se descarga a través de la teja del quemador. El gas combustible secundario se descarga en forma adyacente a la secciones inclinadas externas donde el gas combustible secundario se mezcla con gases de combustión en un horno. Las corrientes de gas combustible-gases de combustión resultante se mezclan con la mezcla de gas combustible-gases de combustión-aire que se descarga a través de la teja del quemador y la mezcla resultante se combustiona en el horno.
