Abstract

La presente invención es un nuevo intermediario, compuesto de la fórmula (6) y sus sales. Además, la invención incluye un procedimiento para la preparación de los compuestos intermediarios 15(S)-prostaglandina de fórmulas 4 y 18, que comprende (1) poner en contacto la enona correspondiente con el (-)-clorodiisopinocamfeilborano mientras se mantiene la temperatura de la mezcla de reacción entre aproximadamente -50° y aproximadamente 0° y (2) poner en contacto la mezcla de reacción del paso (1) con un agente complejante del boro.
