Abstract
A method of nuclear transfer, characterized in that it comprises the selection and segregation of G1 cells from a proliferative or non-proliferative population of donor cells and the transfer of a nucleus from said segregated G1 cell to an enucleated receptor cell. This method is advantageous compared to the prior art because it provides certainty as to the stage of the cell cycle in which the donor nuclei are found and allows the production of transgenic or non-transgenic embryonic cells, reconstituted embryos and complete animals for agricultural applications. , pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and biomedical. A reconstituted animal embryo, a cloned non-human animal, progeny and descendants of the latter, an embryonic cell line and use of the latter, methods to produce the same and therapeutic cloning methods for treatment of a disease, for the discovery, are also disclosed. of reconstituted drugs, xenotransplantation and gene therapy and complete animals for agricultural, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and biomedical applications.
