Abstract
Una protesis aortica para el tratamiento de aneurismas aorticos abdominales, y uso de la misma, en donde la protesis se inserta dentro de la aorta dentrode las arterias iliacas del paciente en una forma de dejar el aneurisma excluido del sistemacirc ulatorio sanguíneo, comprendiendo la protesis un material detela hueco tubular que incluye una porcion de tronco y por lo menos porcion de pata capaz de acomodarse a cualquier rotacion que sufra como consecuencia de lainstalacion de la protesisy a c ualquier relacion variable entre los diámetros de un cuello aortico y las arterias iliacas, estando también la protesisadaptada a diferentes formas de aorta, de manera de disminuir y aun evitar los riesgos de implante inadecuado de la protesisdentro de la aorta. El troncotambién incluye un borde inelástico para retener un fijador en una condicion expandida para fijar el tronco y las porciones de pata en forma conjunta.
