Abstract
Un sistema transportador comprende transportadores que se desplazan a lo largo de una vía de soporte, los cuales transportan cargas a un destino deseado.Los portadores son impulsados por una vía de motorizacion que posee cierto numero de motores de induccion lineales montados en ella. La vía de motorizacionpresenta una serie de medios para conectar o acoplar los motores a la misma. Los medios de acoplamiento en general se encuentran dispuestos en forma continua alo largo de la vía de motorizacion. Con este sistema los motores pueden ser ubicados a lo largo de la vía en la posicion deseada, particularmente de acuerdo alos requerimientos de potencia necesarios para cada porcion de la misma, por ejemplo, se colocarán más motores en las secciones ascendentes de la vía. Losmotores también pueden ser fácilmente removidos y colocados en otros puntos de la vía. Se provee un controlador que maneja los motores y la operacion detransporte en general. Como alternativa a los motores de induccion líneales, es posible utilizar motores sincronicos lineales para impulsar los portadores a lolargo de una trayectoria de transporte. Un método para transportar una carga soportada por al menos un portador que comprende los pasos de: a)proveer una víadesoporte sobre la cual se desplaza al menos un portador y una vía de motorizacion adyacente a aquella; b)proveer una pluralidad de motores accionadosmagnéticamente, c)disponer los motores accionados magnéticamente en la vía de motorizacion utilizandomedios de acoplamiento distribuidos a lo largo de lamisma, estando este paso relacionado con los cambios en la elevacion de la vía de soporte; y d)controlar el movimiento de los portadores a través del controlde los motores accionados magnéticamente.A conveyor system comprises conveyors that travel along a support path, which transport loads to a desired destination. The carriers are driven by a motorization path that has a certain number of linear induction motors mounted therein. The motorization route presents a series of means to connect or couple the motors to it. The coupling means in general are arranged continuously along the motor route. With this system the motors can be located along the track in the desired position, particularly according to the power requirements necessary for each portion thereof, for example, more engines will be placed in the ascending sections of the track. The engines can also be easily removed and placed at other points of the track. A driver that drives the engines and the transport operation in general is provided. As an alternative to linear induction motors, it is possible to use linear synchronous motors to drive carriers along a transport path. A method for transporting a load supported by at least one carrier comprising the steps of: a) providing a support path on which at least one carrier and a motorization path adjacent to it are moved; b) provide a plurality of magnetically driven motors, c) arrange the magnetically driven motors in the motorization path utilizing coupling means distributed along the same, this step being related to the changes in the elevation of the support path; and d) control the movement of the carriers through the control of the magnetically driven motors.
