Abstract
Un método y aparato para el fotoblanqueo selectivo o matanza de tejidos pigmentados mediante la conversion fotoquímica de pigmentos presentes en lostejidos con el uso de luz y específicamente, la excitacion simultánea de dos fotones. Los productos fototoxicos así producidos matan a las células pigmentadas.También se puede agregar la hipertermia o un agente exogeno para aumentar la eficacia. La presente invencion se refiere asimismo a la destruccion térmicaselectiva de tejidos pigmentados utilizando elementos opticos relacionados.
