Abstract

Se describen 2-fenilpiridinas sustituidas de la formula (I) y sus sales utiles en agricultura, donde los sustituyentes y el índice m tienen lossiguientes significados: m es 0 o 1; R1 es halogeno, C1-4-halogenalquilo, C1-4-halogenalcoxi, C1-4-alquiltio, C1-4-alquilsulfinilo, C1-4-alquilsulfonilo,C1-4-halogenalquiltio o ciano; R2 es fluor o trifluormetilo; R3 es hidrogeno o halogeno; R4 es halogeno o ciano; R5 es CO2R6, OR7, SR7, C(R8)=N-O-R7 o C(R8) =-CO-O-R6, donde R6 es hidrogeno, unradical C1-8-alquilo, C3-6-alquenilo o C3-6-alquinilo insustituido o sustituido por halogeno; C1-4-alcoxi-C1-4-alquilo, C1-6-alcoxicarbonil-C1-4-alquilo, C3-4-alqueniloxicarbonil-C1-4- alquilo, C3-4-alquiloxicarbonat-C1-4-alquilo o C1-4-alcoxi-(C1-4-alcoxi)carbonil-C1-4-alquilo; R7 puede tener el significado de R6 o ser CH2-CO2 [C1-4-alquilen]-CO2R9 y CH[C1-4-alquil]-CO2-[C1-4-alquilen]-COR9; R8 eshidrogeno, halogeno o C1-4-alquilo y R9 es hidrogeno o C1-4-alquilo. Sedescriben además el procedimiento y los intermediarios de síntesis y lascomposiciones y procedimiento para combatir el crecimiento de plantas no deseadas y para desecar y/o desfoliar plantas.
