This is the image of the house on the Garfield kit. Notice that I left off some gingerbread trim and made the tower roof pointed.
The interior view of the house as shown on the kit box has an enclosed roof and second floor rooms. I opened up both of these areas.
The Yellow Rose Inn made from a Garfield kit, is another example of the Victorian style. This kit is the largest made by Greenleaf and is so large that I will not be able to move it from its current position in my home without the aid of a saw. I did quite a bit of kitbashing with this house, changing the closed in stairway and the third floor. This house contains nine generous sized rooms and a very large stairwell. It is one of my favorite houses and took almost a year to complete. I left quite a bit of the gingerbread off this house as I felt it took away from the beautiful architectural design of this house. I turned this house into a bed and breakfast with each of the four bedrooms decorated on a theme. There is a check-in desk inside the front door.

The front porch is covered with yellow roses.
The Yellow Rose decorated for Christmas.
The cookie jars on the wall shelves are copies of antique cookie jars and made of Sculpty.
There's a wash room are in the back corner. The Maytag washer can be seen in this picture.
The dining room furniture is by Concord.
The table cloth is an antique handkerchief.
1st Floor Parlor (Check-in desk is behind the staircase.) The elephant foot umbrella stand is a raku piece.
The ivory bedroom has French doors and two closets. A pink robe hangs on one closet door. My sister made the teddy bear on the bed. There's a skeleton in the closet!
The bathroom fixtures are metal and very heavy.
I made the nightgown and the robes seen hanging on doors in prior pictures. The dresser is by Concord.
The third floor landing contains a Concord bombey chest.
This beautiful hand carved cradle was an anniversary gift from my husband. My mother gave me the tiny baby boy. The cradle is numbered and signed, J.C. '82.
The attic bedroom contains many cross-stitched items.
