Paris, Texas 1984
This is one that I’d consider ‘got me into movies’, watching this for the first time really blew me away. Watching it for the 3rd (maybe 4th?) time really reminded me the power that a movie can have. Familial relationships tend to strike me the hardest in a movie, and this one is no different. Love pretty much everything about this. Müller is the GOAT. His framing devices are so powerful, and every scene in this movie has something to be studied. Lovely stuff. Not to mention I love Cooders score, so much.
