On Body and Soul 2017
The Hungarian film director Ildikó Enyedi is one of the most brilliant women filmmakers working today. Her film ON BODY AND SOUL from 2017 is an amazing story about dreams and love and longing, and it has deeply moved me when I first saw it. The thought that a man could not have made this film intrigued me a lot.

Au Hasard Balthazar 1966
If you think that a film about the life of a donkey cannot be moving and take your breath away, watch AU HASARD BALTHAZAR from 1966, and think again. The film by French master Robert Bresson on the topics of violence as well as compassion is one of those films that change the way you see the world.
