Religio vulgaris Sinica
Religio vulgaris Sinica[1] (Mandarinice 中國民間信仰, Mandarinice simpliciter 中国民间信仰, pinyin Zhōngguó mínjiān xìnyǎng) est familia variarum religionum in Sinis Taivaniaque latissime notarum, atque inter diasporam Sinicam exercitarum. Quae pietatis forma est antiqua Sinarum traditio, venerationem comprehendens virium naturae maiorumque, exorcismum virium noxiarum, et fidem rationali naturae, universi, realitatisque ordini, qui ab hominibus et eorum rectoribus, et adeo spiritibus et deis, moveri potest.[2]
Veneratio deis immortalibusque Sinicis (神 shén) dicatur, qui esse possunt deitates rerum naturalium morumque humanorum, vel praeterea progenitores stirpium. Fabulae de nonnullis deis in corpore litterarum Sinarum quae mythologiam Sinicam tractant colliguntur. Ante saeculum undecimum (aetatem Song), hae exercitationes cum Buddhisticis karmae notionibus (res quae a se fiunt) mixtae erant, et doctrinae Taoisticae de hierarchiis deorum, ad rationem religiosam populo gratam generandam, quae variis modis usque ad praesens superest.[3]
