1.8.0 was a big mess, it was super rushed and a bunch of stuff is missing and was forgotten, I will make sure that going forward I will make sure that the updates are quality over quantity. further more, I hope that I will stop adding new features and mainly work on the actually map and progression of the game. I also came to the realization that Diobanna is not very unique and I want to help that by possibly adding some stuff that makes it really special. 1 year of Diobanna is coming up soon (November 9th) as that is when I started this project. I hope to learn from my mistakes.

I decided to put Apollo and the Shadows of the Past (godhome hollow knight) in 1.8.0

Update 1.8.0 should (hopefully release) in the next week. I wanted to update you all on what is planned on being added

  • Whole new Dialog System
  • Different damage types
  • More Spells that you can level up

  • More skill tree stuff

having being further into update 1.8.0 I wanted to let people know what i am planning now, The majority of this update's time spent is making text systems far easier to code (I have to recode all of the texts)

  • Whole New Dialog System
  • The area where you fight old bosses
  • New NPC (Apollo)
  • Lots of Lore
  • More Spells

I took another week to think about what I want added to the game, and I kinda struggled to come up with ideas. So I just got on and started doing small bug fixes. and I have some ideas for Demo 1.8.0

  • More Spells
  • An area where you can fight previously beaten bosses and get rewards
  • MAYBE add a new ice area (scrapped from previous updates)

Are you planning on making more assets for this series?

I am sorry for the big wait, I lost motivation for this project for a few weeks but I AM BACK, I plan to release a new update within the next few weeks

Plans for 1.7.0

  • New Slash system where there are more attacks
  • New bloody crimsons overhaul
  • general changes and bug fixes



    That's about all : )

    I am going to be very busy and will not have time to finish demo 1.7.0

    I was wondering if you were going to continue making the SFX packs?

    This looks cool

    update 1.6.0, bigger than 1.5.0 ads so much more content to the demo

    I am adding a lot of new rooms and a new boss so it will take longer than expected, sorry :(

    will probaby be done in a few days :)
    I am adding new attacks and phases to florisa and Florisa beyond
    Changing the main menu from brown to black
    Bug fixes
    Tutorial changes
    Thats about all for now

    I have some pretty big bugs that I will fix soon
       Enemies do not get stunned properly (at all)
       Bosses appear SUPER stretched
       I will increase the player's decelleration
       I will fix some of the animations where diobanna's sword dissapears
       Fixed bug where enemies would continue attacking after their animation finished even though the player is behind them
       I also MIGHT add rebindable control for real this time 

    this is all I have for now, will update when I find more issues

    I tested it out with my character thats 16x16 and it still looks insanly good, I cant say it enough how good this looks and cant wait for the others in the set
