Hello! I am a game developer as well, and found Voices of the Void lots of fun! I wanted to see where I can get started using the source engine myself!

Really cool I love it

I see you made some progress! The rats spawn now, and I see the begin wave button but when I click it nothing happens ;c

I'll check it out in a bit <3

Thank you stephen

Really cool game with a fantastic soundtrack!

Great explosions!

Cute game with great music! Shame I didn't get to rate it :C

Hooray! Remind me when you do I'll check it out and comment!

Holy moly this is a genius concept, don't even know what to say other than great work!

Yeah I see it all now after it was explained to me. Its just hard for me to imagine people would do this and I'm very saddened by it ;c

Thank you!

No problem have a great day!

It's okay! Communicating information is pretty challenging at times! Because to us as the developer it seems intuitive because we've been playing our own game and know the rules and mechanics! It takes a lot of skill and testing to understand what a new player might see or think! You did really well considering even though I didn't properly understand your mechanics, I had fun! Please let me know if/when you update your project!

No problem! Let me know when your next version is out!

Oh!!! I didn't even THINK to do that!!!

How do you know? I'm sorry I'm not familiar with identifying these things.

There is something DEEPLY satisfying  about mastering your controls! Its pretty cool and I see this game as having some sort of poignant narrative like getting over with it. I noticed small details like the ship controlling differently when the thruster is close to the wall, I like how the fuel is displayed by coloring the ship, though I feel it'd be more intuitive if it was the other way around (Ship loses color as fuel runs out). Great work I think I got around 100 points? Was fun and frustrating but satisfying!

Hey this is a great idea! I really like the idea of this game, it gives a bit of personality to a space invaders type game. I see lots of room to make the game even better if you choose to do so! Its a lot of fun as is though! One thing I think would be nice is if the incoming asteroids were line up on the same x axis as your platform. that way one would only destroy one piece of of your platform. I felt a lot of times it was very difficult or maybe impossible to keep my platform safe as at times there be three different asteroids coming at the same time for a single platform!

I enjoyed this submission! Great work!

Interesting concept! I didn't realize it was a memory esque game at first until I experimented a bit. I liked the symbols within the books. I really like the setting, and I liked how the music rewinds when you hit restart. Its a bit obtuse if you don't read the description, but I still think its a cool game!

Neat little runner! I liked how responsive the jump was, though it'd be cool if I could jump even higher and there platforms to climb on as well! I liked the lose screen its pretty funny! I think one thing you should try to do is have it so when you jump over a bullet you get a point. I like how they move faster and faster it can get quite challenging! Good work!

I like the aesthetics and idea but I feel it's a bit too easy for me! The fish in the middle is pretty to run circles around, perhaps more appearing over time could be fun! Its a cool idea though! Great work!

If you decide to expand on the game let me know! :D

I love the gameplay! Reminds me of rocket jumping in tf2 with how I have to manage movement over combat! Excellent idea! You should absolutely expand on this idea with adding more types of weapons with different recoil and spread, maybe random generation and more game feel. Screen shake, better explosions. I see alot of potential in this idea, good work!! :D

I like the idea of climbing on the wall its pretty cool and lends itself to a stealth game! It feels a bit strange to me though and hard to grasp. Turning around and such. It might be a skill issue though. The hacking was really cool, reminded me of hell divers and I love the sounds! Great work!

Really creative game! I like the aesthetics and all the little minigames! It took a few moments to realize I had camera controls, maybe I'm dumb or something! Haha! Also, I'm not sure if its just me as well but I couldn't finish picking up the trash bags! Really fun though!

Lots of potential, a dash or roll would be really nice, plus making the sprites a bit bigger its hard to see them! I think you can do something incredible by adding more game feel and oomph to hitting enemies, a bit of knockback, some flashing and even screen shake. Great job! Keep it up!

I like how the camera started with you facing at the monster! Though I feel hes too easy to get away from, especially after jumping over the beds. Could use some more challenging obstacles and could be a really cool game!

Oh good lmao! I was so confused I thought I said something rude on accident so I was going over my previous comment, and then I was like oh my god I better make sure this person knows I like their game I don't want to hurt them 0-0

If you move forward with it let me know! I'd love to continue playing it :D

I like how quick and easy it is to restart. I have a soft spot for really difficult games. Though my gripe with this one is I don't really have a good sense of how big I am and if I'm too close to the propellers or not. I like the challenge a bunch though.

2:23. Hilarious game, accurately portrays what its like to be drunk. I really liked the voice acting and the random dialogue characters had. I got stuck on a bar stool for a minute and all them surrounded me. It was a good experience. I wish the controls felt a bit more responsive though. But I understand the intent is to be frustrating. Great work, keep it up!

Very cool looking game, excellent music and really cool looking cryptid! I like the idea of running through the woods being chased by him! But sometimes the hands that spawn light just wouldn't spawn for me, I am not sure if I was missing something perhaps I didn't understand a mechanic?

I like the way the character moves and how movement feels. It could be a pretty fun roguelite but after killing one rat nothing else seemed to spawn!

I was wondering about that too. It looked very suspect.

I like the idea of the game! Its a cool concept and fun idea with having to take randomized parts! I'm not sure if it's a browser issue or maybe a skill issue even, but I found it tedious putting parts onto the ship. It felt really precise as to where I had to drag it.

The art and animations are really good, I found attacking to be challenging. I didn't like how Anya would stop to attack. It would be nice if it felt more fluid. I think the game is absolutely gorgeous and has potential! I wasn't sure if the pit at the start would kill you so I walked down it, to me it felt like something I can go down. I'm not sure perhaps its just me! Keep up the good work!

Interesting game, the top down 2.5d is pretty cool, though gameplay wise I ran out of ammo really quickly and all the new ammo was in boxes I couldn't break. It was funny standing on the cops face and seeing they couldn't shoot me. It would be nice if I could make them shoot each other! Fun idea! Good work
