An ad-hoc network is self-organising and distributive in manner. The MANET is works as router so that linked with the other nearest devices. A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a wireless network follows the multiple hop routing instead of static network infra to provide network connectivity. Each device in a MANET is free to move independently in all direction freewaysand will therefore nodes change position in large networks all routing protocols. The routing protocols are needed for conveying information in Ad-hoc network there are various performance parameters to compare the Ad-hoc routing protocols. A home energy management (HEM) system is mainly used to improve the performance of the smart grid with the help of demand response enabled application for residential customer preference. Various developing countries continuous power supply is one of the problems which prevent the growth rate. So different methods can be proposed to increase the power generation and reducing the power demand by increasing the energy efficiency .One of the innovative technique is demand shifting. This paper aims at developing a demand shifting algorithm. The HEM system is developed in order to monitor the power consumption and time requirement for operation of various equipment & tries to shift the operation of certain non-essential and monitor the power consumption of individual equipment .It act as a modern home energy meter. The main aim of the system is reduce the peak power demand and tries to keep the load curve smooth without effecting customers comfort level. The HEM is developed using MATLAB and various scenarios are inputted into it and its output and its impact on the consumer is analyzed.

The technique is suitable for video compression, and can be used for stereo vision, robotics and vision computer.

In this paper the role of Selective Harmonic Elimination (SHE) is presented for diode clamped twelve-level multilevel inverter (DCMLI) based on dog leg optimization algorithm. Non-linear equations has been solved to eliminate specific low order harmonics, using the developed DOP algorithm, while at the same time the fundamental component is retained efficiently. The non-linear nature of transcendental equation provide multiple or even no solution for a particular modulation index. The proposed optimization method solving the nonlinear transcendental equations providing all possible solutions. The paper also showing the comparison between different modulation techniques including the proposed method. The entire system has been simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness with negligible THD.

The Baugh-Wooley algorithm is a well-known iterative algorithm for performing multiplication in digital signal processing applications. Decomposition logic is used with Baugh-Wooley algorithm to enhance the speed and to reduce the critical path delay. In this paper a high speed multiplier is designed and implemented using decomposition logic and Baugh-Wooley algorithm. The result is compared with booth multiplier. FPGA based architecture is presented and design has been implemented using Xilinx 12.3 device.

and is affected from EPS reliability requirements among the other EPS performance specifications. So ranking of DC/DC converters based on End-Of-Life (EOL) reliability is an undeniable need. In this paper, reliability of four DC/DC converters including buck, forward, fly-back, and Push-pull, as candidates for a 5-years-long, Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) space mission, are evaluated and compared. Converters are assumed having similar design requirements and supervision and control elements with different power conversion parts and negligible reliability-affecting excess circuits. Standard process is undertaken in preliminary and critical design of converters for reliability improvement and prediction. To reduce the converters’ parts stress regarding the particles radiation and the thermal cycling effects of the space environment, a derating process is applied to the primary design based on ECSS standard. Derated components are then selected in such a way to make possible calculating components failure-rates based on the MIL-HDBK-217F data and equations as the major EEE components failure-rate data reference. Reliability modelling and analysis for the converters is done by reliability block diagram (RBD) method, and the converters are then comparatively evaluated based on the analysis results.
According to the results, buck converter is the most reliable one and push-pull is the least. Among the isolated topologies, fly-back is the best one from the reliability point of view.
