By studying the chain connection of the stages of reproduction, the sequence of formation and expansion of the value chain can be clarified. The article examines a series of links from the acquisition of primary raw materials, their processing, storage, distribution, supply, and sale, depending on the scale of the value chain in the direction of achieving the result of economic activity. It is proposed that this chain is formed based on common principles in individual countries and regions of the world, and even at the international level. The type of economic activity performed in each ring of the chain faces certain costs, the process of conversion of costs takes place, and because of the activity of each ring i...

It is found that the model behaves differently depending on theR₀indicator - the average number of people that one infected manages to infect. Measures to suppress the epidemic undertaken by Azerbaijan and their effectiveness have been considered.Purpose of the article:The aim of the article is to model the current dynamics of the disease for future forecasting. The model takes into account all the main parameters of the epidemic: the proportion of severe patients and the mortality rate depending on the age of the patients, the duration of the incubation period and the infectious phase of the disease; incomplete registration of infected people due to the high prevalence of asymptomatic disease and insufficient testing; possible measures to contain and suppress the epidemic and their impact onR₀.M...

For this, an index analysis of thirty-five indicators was carried out, divided into seven groups depending on the level of education, an integral indicator characterizing their changes was calculated, and the pace of development of the industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan was determined. Further, using the Excel program, a forecast of changes in the number of students in the Republic of Azerbaijan until 2023 is presented according to three scenarios: optimistic, probabilistic and pessimistic. Studies have shown that optimistic and pessimistic scenarios are more likely to be realized.

The development of human capital is crucial for the transition from a traditional economy to a knowledge economy.Purpose of the article: The aim of the article is to show how human capital plays a very important role in the country’s economy, the knowledge that is concentrated in it, allows you to develop a knowledge economy - a type of economy based on the use of this capital. The formation of human capital is associated with investment and high-quality modern education. Modernization of higher education is closely related to the use of information and communication technologies and the introduction of innovations. Distance education can be the beginning of a new stage of higher education. Methods: The method of observati...

Education is an important factor in reducing poverty, stimulating economic growth, achieving gender equality and social development of the country. Over the past decades, developing countries have started to actively invest in education. Despite the increase in education expenditure and school enrollment rates, the level of education in developing countries is still low. A feature of education financing in developing countries is the pattern of education expenditure. In developing countries expenditure per student has been reoriented towards higher education. Investment in education is one of the most important types of public investment in the social sphere. The purpose of our research is to conduct a comparative analysis of the status and trends in the education cost structure changes in developing countries. In our research we have proposed a scale that makes it possible to select 4 qua...

To obtain quantitative assessments of the qualitative characteristics of human capital development, the questionnaire method has been used. Based on a survey of 7232 people (which has been carrying out for July-September 2017-2020 in the context of the economic regions of Azerbaijan) and the main components' method, the factors of the qualitative characteristics of the development of the HC was determined. Using the method of linear regression modeling, the fact statistically more level significant influence on the level of economic development of the country of qualitative indicators of the development of the HC has been determined than quantitative indicators during the economic crisis. An integral model of an empirical assessment of HC's qualitative development has been developed

At the same time, cultural dimensions, cultural factors, and their impact on performance measures are also becoming a very popular topic for research. In our paper, we attempted to analyze the issues related to cultural diversity and its impact on innovation performance. We used survey data-collection method with support of trade unions in regions. Then, we used quantitative techniques such as correlation-regression analyses in order to find support for the proposed hypotheses. We found that cultural diversity has inverted U-curve relationship with innovation performance in the case of Azerbaijan also along with that we found that two components of cultural diversity, namely gender diversity and foreigners' diversity have the highest outcomes in terms of innovation performance when the diversity levels are moderate.
