Globalisasi ekonomi dan sistem perdagangan bebas secara analogi akan menghilangkan batas-batas antar negara. Kondisi ini menuntut bentuk kekuatan daya saing secara lokal hingga internasional. Untuk itu setiap galangan kapal secara akselerasi melakukan pengukuran terhadap rasionalisasi peningkatan produktivitas dan daya saing galangan. Penelitian non eksperimental ini mengusulkan sebuah model nonparametrik berupa regresi polinomial dan model lintasan. Hasil pengembangan 2 (dua) model nonparametrik, meliputi cubic spline with 2 knots dan Shipyard PLS Path Modeling. Bentuk persamaan cubic spline with 2 knots: ƒ(BP) = – 6958,641 + 5866,252BP – 1605,596BP2 + 143,917BP3 – 897,560(BP – 4,25)3+ + 1322,863(BP – 4,50)3+ . Indonesia as an archipelago countries demand modern boats for marine security, resulting in a surge in the development of past patrol vessels. The investigation in this study focused on designs with and without a tunnel at the bottom to determine which design provided the least resistance. CFD offer realistic findings for comparing the problems encountered by two distinct kinds of fast patrol boats. The computation the use of no tunnel, the use of a tunnel on fast patrol boat reduced resistance by an average of 5.4%. According to the results of the CFD simulations, using a tunnel may greatly reduce the high pressure at the bottom in interactions with the flow of water. The utilization of using tunnel is a solution that may be employed more successfully for fast patrol boat operation

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has a concentrated deposit of salt in Java and Madura Island. Furthermore, the total demand for the mineral in 2017, 2018, and 2019 were 3.9, 4, and 4.2 million tons, respectively. This study was carried out in 4 stages, namely identification of raw materials, crystallization, mechanical, and re-crystallization. The salt crystallization and purification process is beneficial to the aquaculture, fishery, and health sectors. The results showed that the raw materials obtained from the coastal areas of East Java and Bali Island have an average NaCl interval estimation range of 80.31% to 92.37%, which indicates that they are suitable for salt production. The product obtained from the processes have the potential to initiate diversification of business development in the country with an estimation range of 95.38% to 97.25%.

The Seabus Alu-01 ship is an aluminum fast ship type, it has a service speed of 35-45 knots. Installation of the zinc anode on the Seabus Alu-01 is different from any general ship, as the zinc anode is mounted by protruding it into the ship’s hull. This research performed a simulation the ship seabus alu-01 which has been modified to use the ellipse zinc anode. The final results of the research showed that ellipse zinc anode better than square zinc anode, because the ship using ellipse zinc anode has a flow velocities hull faster than ship using square zinc anode, drag force value lower, and the value of force lift ship using ellipse zinc anode higher than ship using square zinc anode.

Nowadays, submarines are already being a lethal weapon for the navy around the world and also being a vessel for under water researches, in their developments, hydroplanes are being created as one of their maneuver equipments to reduce the utilization of ballast tanks on the submarines. This research intend to use the hydroplanes as the diving plan of the submarine itself, by knowing the hydrodynamic theoretical impacts. The research process is a simulation of diving plan installation as a maneuver equipment, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the hydroplanes, what is the effect by adding hydroplanes to the submarine’s stability while operating under water and also how many forces that works on the hydroplanes and how does the forces that works on the hydroplanes affecting the submarine while maneuvering under water. The modeling process and simulation are be done by using ANSYS 14.5 program to observe the effect of adding the hydroplanes on a submarine.

This research is evaluation from the unmanned fast boat contest at Camplong Beach Madura 2013, there are many lack in our boat performance. And this is the problem that writer wants to study. Because the boat can’t drove at maximum velocity and the boat flipped down when impacted with wave and wind. We expect with dimension plan took from hydrofoil ship concept can maintain the stability of the hull when the ship drove at high velocity. The modeling and analyzing process used in dimension plan is modeled and simulated with ANSYS 14.0. The goal of this research is to obtain the Design of RC Hydroplane dimension so as to maintain a stable condition when the ship drove at high velocity and the specification of RC Hydroplane: Length 700 mm, Breadth 280 mm, Height 199 mm, and draft 50 mm with velocity of 33,47 knots.

Abstract A hull development of outrigger RC boat model, which was made as planing hull was carried out numerically. The observation focus on the analysis of resistance and lift force which were produced by the boat while cruising that can enhance the performance and also help the boat to reach her best speed. The numerical study was using Ansys fluent code for resistance and lift force analysis. The overall results were further compared with the published data for verification purpose. The results are also believed can be useful in the development of the high speed boat model, especially in outrigger class.

ABSTRACT.Blue Economy concept began with the farming of Artemia salt. The industry of farmer’s salt was one of the pillars that supported the economy of coastal communities. At present, the perspectives of the public on an industrial salt production is less profitable and conducted by unskilled laborers. Nowadays, the farmer still used evaporation total method of sea water by solar power, where NaClwas ≤ 90% and residual brine. It is necessary to improve the salt production through combination between disk-mill and distillation evaporation technology to produce salt diversification product. The result of the combination process were refined salt with NaClthat was ≥ 90%, liquid salt with NaClthat was ± 60% and mineral water.

One of the problems obtained in the low carbon steel welding process was its nature  susceptible to shakes.  The minimize the formation of residual voltage in the connection area (Heat Affected Zone) can be done by the Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) process The purpose of this study was to find out the effect caused by variations in heat treatment on heating steel ASTM A36 (Holding Time) to penetrant tests and determine the suitable temperature given to ASTM A36 steel after the welding process. The PWHT process was carried out with several variations of Holding Time, namely 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours at 400 °C.  Based on penetrant testing showed that the best value in Holding Time was 3 hours with no appearance of porosity defects

Field facts in various Indonesian shipping industries show that the choice of organic materials as coating for ship paint uses epoxy, vinyl and polyurethane. Therefore an experimental study is needed on the adhesion ability of paint as a coating for ship armor with these three types of organic materials. The preparation of steel specimens with type ASTM A36 is carried out by blasting, visual inspection standard ISO 8501-1, and roughness test standard ISO 8503-4. Painting of specimens by measuring the thickness of the paint in the wet conditions ASTM D4414 standard and ASTM D4138 standard dry conditions. Treatment of specimens in two conditions, are: tropichal weather condition and salt spray conditon. Observation of specimens by scanning electron microscope and adhesion test standard ASTM D4541-02. The final result shows that the best adhesion ability of the main paint coating in tropical weather conditions was a p...
