Berom (Wani lokacin ana rubuta Birom) shi ne mafi girman ƙabila ce dake jihar Filato, tsakiyar Najeriya . waɗanda suka haɗa ƙananan hukumomi hudu, wadanda suka hada da Jos ta Arewa, Jos ta kudu, Barkin Ladi (Gwol) da Riyom, Berom suma ana samun su a wasu ƙananan hukumomin kudancin jihar Kaduna.

Berom suna magana da yaren Berom, wanda ke na reshen Filato na Benuwe-Congo, wani yanki ne na babban gidan masu yaren Neja-Congo . Ba shi da dangantaka da harshen Hausa (wanda dangin Afro-Asiya ne ) ko kuma wasu yarukan Afro-Asiatic na jihar Filato, wadanda kuma suke yarukan Chadi .

Mutanen Berom suna da kyawawan al'adu. Suna yin bikin Nzem Berom kowace shekara a watan Maris ko Afrilu. Sauran bukukuwan sun hada da Nzem Tou Chun (worongchun) da Wusal Berom. Oneaya daga cikin manyan ƙungiyoyin asali ne a cikin Nijeriya (Jihar Filato) waɗanda ke yin imani da Allahn Yahudu da kuma Kirista (Dagwi). [2]
