No sabía que python se podía compilar 🤔 .

claro, al codigo de la virtual machine, que no son mas que bytes, el tema es que son binarios que igual necesitan del interprete para funcionar, no es lo mismo que compilar C por ejemplo, pues en ese caso el binario es codigo de maquina
