Move to new style

[edit]

Just as {{Politics of the United Kingdom}}, {{Politics of France}}, {{Politics of Poland}}, {{Politics of Spain}}, {{Politics of Belgium}}, {{Politics of Luxembourg}}, etc, this template is being moved to the new style. It seems like Sundostund finds it necessary to change the politics template of several countries, which is evident on his (talk) page. Please leave this one be! Stretsh (talk) 20:20, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This co-called "new style" in templates doesn't bring any improvements, and it's not necessary to apply it on Wikipedia. Previous template style is much better. --Sundostund (talk) 22:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What improvements are you looking for? There is a better view of the departments, there is a link to the members of parlement, the political parties are added, there is a link to the vice chair... All of which are part of an ongoing process of standardizing our political information. What else do you need???
Please also explain to me what your relation is with Political Suriname, for you to have such a strong opinion about what is an improvement in the way Politics of Suriname is represented... Stretsh (talk) 21:02, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Old style have it all mentioned above, there is no need for improvements. I'm not obliged to explain anything to you, Stretsh. You already lied about some "special assignments" that are given to you by the National Assembly of Suriname. So, stop this charade already! --Sundostund (talk) 23:07, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please be careful with your accusations! Again, unless you have access to my mailbox, please stop accusing me of lying! I am assigned by the chairperson herself (contact her yourself if you have the need to verify: voorzitter@dna.sr or j.simons@dna.sr)!
I dropped this for now, because I will make sure that all articles relating to the change are in place, then I will see to it that this template is changed to adopt the style which is used in a growing number of Politics templates! I see visual improvements in the new style. There's no use arguing over taste when it comes to style, but in the end, we of Suriname, just like a number of others, representing their own country, prefer the new style.
Another thing: I see that you're interested in Suriname politics (or general politics of a number of countries), but please be sure to state the right facts. At the least, try to get the input of Wikipedia contributors who actually LIVE in Suriname! Stretsh (talk) 23:56, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I'm sure that "old" style is better than the "new" one, and there is no need for improvements. It just looks much better. And, Stretsh, please stop lying about some "special assignments" that are given to you by the National Assembly of Suriname. It's a complete nonsense! Do you really think that someone will believe in that? --Sundostund (talk) 00:04, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
