[go: up one dir, main page]

A senior lecturer in British and Commonwealth studies at the University of Versailles, I now mostly contribute to the French Wikipedia. My contributions of significant new material to the English Wikipedia have slowed to a trickle. To be honest, my interest in a variety of highly-specialised topics that I used to contribute to has dwindled, and I don't have the time to remain actively involved.

I have written thirty-five DYK articles, though none recently: Lamine Guèye (skier), Trischa Zorn, Pal Szekeres, Niue Star, Ruatara (chief), Mary Ann Müller, Kiribati–Cuba relations, Robert Van Lierop, Fiji and the United Nations, James Tanis, Ralph Regenvanu, Love Patrol, The Maori Merchant of Venice, Tofiri Kibuuka, Lango Sinkamba, Said Gomez, Rhodesia at the 1960 Summer Paralympics, Edward Maalouf, Marathon at the Paralympics, Babatunde Jose, George Ambo, Wara Wara, Law of Vanuatu, Andrew Nori, Ukraine at the Paralympics, Pete Gray (activist), Constituencies for French residents overseas, North Korea–South Korea football encounters, Essential National Industries (Employment) Decree 2011, Mojo Mathers, Fuahea Semi, 1924 Summer Deaflympics, Tonga at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Ruby Thoma, and Vika Lusibaea.

I am currently ranked 883rd on the list of Wikipedians by number of articles created. There was a time when I was 378th.

My barnstars

edit
  The Original Barnstar
For your amazing work including, among other things, countering systemic bias and having an apparent treasure trove of references for the contemporary articles that WP lacks. Here's to hoping you come back. Xavexgoem (talk) 18:51, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
  The Running Man Barnstar
The Running Man Barnstar may be awarded for distinguished efforts in sports-related articles. This barnstar is intended for those who give 110% in order to advance Wikipedia's coverage of the world of sports. Bib (talk) 11:11, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
