Abstract
This article focuses on the satirical and critical look at the petty bourgeoisie in the work of the German humorists Wilhelm Busch and Loriot. It will be shown that the narrative structure of their comical stories is based on the well-known idea of the „return of the repressed“ from Psychoanalytic theory. Thus, Busch and Loriot reveal the structure of the authoritarian personality.
