Right-click on the book cover on the respective product page.
- Select “Open image in new tab”
- In the browser, click in the field with the URL at the top and replace “product_pages” with “original” at the end
You receive the cover in high resolution.
We are happy to provide free review copies to journal editors and journalists who wish to review a specific publication. You can also order review copies if an academic journal, periodical, radio/TV program, scientific blog, or similar has agreed to publish your book review.
We send out free review copies for titles published by De Gruyter and our imprints:
- De Gruyter Akademie Forschung
- De Gruyter Oldenbourg
- De Gruyter Mouton

- Birkhäuser
- Deutscher Kunstverlag
- jovis
- düsseldorf university press.
If you would like to request a review copy from one of our partner publishers, please contact that publisher directly.
Please understand that we can only distribute a limited number of print copies for review purposes. In most cases, we will be able to provide an eBook version. In some cases, there are also restrictions on distributing eBooks as free review copies.
We do not provide review copies of print-on-demand titles from our book archive (reprints).
Please submit a copy of the published review (ideally as a PDF file) via our contact form.
