As the world responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, most governments have temporarily closed all educational institutions. These nationwide closures impacted 90 percent of the student population in all over the globe. To meet the quick demand in this situation, librarians maintain digital collection, e-resources and provide nformation in digital mode. Brainware University (BWU) library also offered different digital library services like e-resources and various library extension services during COVID-19 period to its user community. This study was carried out to find out the effectiveness of e-resources offered by BWU library during COVID-19 period by performing a users’ study using questionnaire method. This study also tried to explore the effectiveness of the various library extension services provided by BWU Library during the pandemic situation. The findings showed that maximum numbers of users were satisfied by the digital services offered by BWU Library during COVID-19 period. Some suggestions were also offered in terms of giving digital library services.

Whenever the topic of the Masters of Bengali Cinema comes along, four names are always on top. One of them is Tapan Sinha. However, the ways Cinephiles frame their arguments on Classical Bengali Cinema, Tapan Sinha, one of India's finest filmmakers but often overshadowed by Satyajit Ray , Mrinal Sen and Ritwik Ghatak. In this paper, a narrative analysis has been adopted to explain the films of Tapan Sinha and why TAPAN SINHA should be at the top billing along with the other three great filmmakers.

Whenever the career of Satyajit Ray is discussed, it is always about his films. But he also left his mark as an illustrator and artist, a facet still unknown to many. His book cover designs to book illustrations; his portraits to his invention of new typography; these are all world-class creations. Most of the original artwork has been lost. A few copies of the original are found here and there. This paper tries to analytically break down his artwork and origin and tries to offer a glimpse of Satyajit Ray's majestic works of art to the world.

Often referred to as India's Frida Kahlo for aesthetically blending traditional and Western art forms, Amrita Sher-Gil was one of the most famous painters of India. She is also considered as a revolutionary woman artist and the originator of modern art in India. Though her artworks mainly depicted Western style and culture during the initial stages of her career, the painter gradually began to rediscover herself by depicting Indian subjects using traditional methods. Apart from painting, she was also well-versed in playing piano and fond of reading. She even travelled to different parts of India, France and Turkey and managed to incorporate ideas gained from different techniques into her own works.
