Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]PERP je direktna transkripcijska meta p53, ali se njegova transkripcija može regulirati i drugim faktorima transkripcije.[8]
PERP je važan za razvoj kože, a gubitak PERP-a povezan je s razvojem i progresijom nekoliko tipova ljudskih kancera.[8]
