BAU offers housing (Island Condos) to students located in the newly developing area of Washington, D.C., Brookland, which is less than 4 miles from campus. The housing facilities have a total of 158 beds in eight attached buildings configured as single (6), double (81), triple (39), and quad (32). The rooms are fully furnished with free wi-fi access. All common areas have built-in LCD TVs. Each building has a flat rooftop area and outdoor common patio. A professional cleaning staff clean all common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens every two weeks. There is security staff at night and security cameras around the premises. The student housing coordinator, located on site, is responsible for all aspects of the management such as student conduct, security, maintenance, and cleaning. In addition, the coordinator is responsible for checking students in and ensuring students have read, understand, and sign the standard operating procedures. There is also a shuttle bus service 3 times a day between Island Condos and BAU Campus during the week.
