Penelitian ini membahas tentang rancang bangun aplikasi manajemen aset untuk menyediakan sistem peminjaman kelas di Universitas Bakrie.  User pada aplikasi adalah mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf. Terdapat beberapa  admin yang bertugas untuk menyetujui peminjaman seperti  admin dari Biro Administrasi Akademik (BAA), kemahasiswaan,  General Affair (GA) dan Kepala Program Studi. Aplikasi menerapkan algoritma  Greedy untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tabrakan jadwal untuk peminjaman prioritas. Implementasi Greedy berfungsi untuk mencari kelas  alternative untuk diberikan kepada  user pemilik kelas yang akan digantikan oleh peminjaman prioritas oleh staf. Aplikasi berbasis  web ini dibangun menggunakan  Object Oriented Programming (OOP) dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Recently, a promising technology called WiMAX is providing wireless last-mile connectivity due to its high speed data rates, low cost of deployment, and large coverage area. Both MAC and Physical layer of this technology refer to the IEEE 802.16e standard, which defines five different data delivery service classes that can be used in order to satisfy Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of different applications, such as VoIP, FTP, videoconference, Web, etc. The main aim of this paper is to examine a case of QoS large cell deployment over a cellular WiMAX network. In particular, the paper compares the performance obtained using ertPS service class for voice application in static and mobile conditions. Results indicate that on WiMAX connection statistics, traffic contract was made correctly by considering the overheads, and the performance of voice in mobile environment showed an acceptable level for Mean Opinion Score at around 3.55 until 100 seconds.

The IEEE 802.16 technology (WiMAX) is a promising technology for providing last-mile connectivity by radio link due to its high speed data rates, low cost of deployment, and large coverage area. However, the maximum number of channels defined in the current system may cause a potential bottleneck and limit the overall system capacity. The aim of this paper is to compare the impact on system performance of different solutions used to mitigate the impairments due to the radio channel. In particular, taking into account the WiMAX system capacity as well as application delays, the paper presents the simulation results obtained when a static QPSK 1/2 Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) is adopted. Then, the study is aimed at evaluating the improvements introduced by the adoption of an adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) and an AMC jointly with Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ). Results indicate that the best strategy is to use an aggressive AMC table with the HARQ.

Recently, a promising technology called WiMAX is providing wireless last-mile connectivity due to its high speed data rates, low cost of deployment, and large coverage area. However, capacity allocation between uplink and downlink subframes is a system parameter that should be determined based on the expected traffic conditions. In this paper, a basic framework was proposed to support adaptive allocation of the downlink and uplink subframes. This could be used to evaluate the network performance by dynamically changing the uplink and downlink partitions. The methodologies include designing a scenario for testing the adaptive partition of the subframes and implementing a mechanism to change the uplink and downlink partition. Results indicate the advantages of models that together with modular design allow to customize the behavior to implement and evaluate the mechanisms and their impact on the system, for example MAC and application performance.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) memberikan referensi-referensi best practice mengenai tata kelola layanan teknologi informasi.  Salah satu bagian dari framework ITIL adalah CMDB atau Configuration Management Database  yang  merupakan sebuah hubungan strategis  dengan  menggunakan  hubungan  diantara komponen-komponen IT atau disebut juga Configuration Item (CI). Nilai strategis dari CMDB dapat diperoleh apabila sebagian atau seluruh CI dapat dipetakan kedalam sebuah CMDB  yang dapat menggambarkan  hubungan  antar CI. CMDB dapat membantu perusahaan dan organisasi IT dalam pengelolaan komponen-komponen infrastruktur. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini  adalah dengan  mengambil framework ITIL. Responding to the development of Tourism in Indonesia, Ontology DWIPA III was built to represent the tourism domain in Indonesia, especially in the Regency of Bali that consists of Class/subclass Accommodation, Attraction, Regency and Event. Tourism consist of 3 main elements, namely Attraction, Accessibility and Amenity. Related to this, Ontology DWIPA III still has shortcomings in the Amenity concept that represent the tourism domain. This research uses the Ontology Enrichment methodology to add new concepts to the existing DWIPA ontology. The sources of the data are scraped from TripAdvisor web. Amenity data that has been collected is given a feature to differentiate the amenities, and the features is determined by its weighted using the Terms Frequency Inverse Document Frequency method. Menanggapi perkembangan Tourism di Indonesia, Ontologi DWIPA III dibangun untuk merepresentasikan domain tourism di Indonesia khususnya pada daerah Bali. Ontologi DWIPA III terdiri dari Class/subClass Accommodations, Attractions, Regencies dan Events. Tourism sendiri memiliki 3 elemen penting dalam perkembangannya, yaitu Attractions, Accommodations dan Amenities. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, Ontologi DWIPA III masih memiliki kekurangan pada konsep Amenities yang mendukung tourism itu sendiri.
