Consortium Providers
In recognition of the important role that library and other consortia often play in providing technical infrastructure and support for their members, ArchivesSpace has a new affiliation specifically for consortia. This affiliation provides a clear path for staff of consortia to provide informed service to their members while supporting the sustainability and future development of the ArchivesSpace application at the same time.
The benefits of the Consortium Provider affiliation include:
Access to resources to learn more about the application
Get help in using and deploying it
participate in the community, including opportunities to connect with other consortia around ArchivesSpace
This affiliation is open to regional and thematic library, archives, and other consortia providing hosting or other services related to ArchivesSpace to their member organizations. Consortia that would like additional benefits related to tech support and participation in governance may want to consider our Registered Service Provider affiliation.
Institutional Membership Discounts
Individual institutional membership remains the way for consortia member institutions to access these benefits directly. To reflect the important role that consortia can play in encouraging ArchivesSpace membership, we offer a discount on the annual Consortium Provider or Consortium Provider Plus fee to consortia that serve ArchivesSpace member institutions. These annual fees may be reduced by a set percentage according to the number of ArchivesSpace member institutions a consortium serves.
