Summary
Outward appearances can be deceiving, some people know that more than others. If you work for S.H.I.E.L.D you know that all too well. With the Avengers initiative it's common for one to doubt the capabilities of its members by a simple glance. The hammer of almighty Thor proves to be very godlike, the titanium alloy suit of one Ironman struts its many striking features, the shield of the infamous Captain shows to be unlike any other metal, but one member of this team has a more deceptive shell than the others. Bruce Banner is the Hulk, and not many can tell from looking at him.
Dr. Banner returned to the helicarrier before anyone and stayed there longer because of a certain subject he was asked to study, but this subject has an even more effective camouflage than even he. Upon first inspection he thought he was looking at a flower, but he found a beast residing within. Caged, alone, filled with hatred... Does he actually have feelings for this creature? Will this determine his loyalty?

Nove anos após os eventos em Sokovia, Ultron ressurge discretamente na internet. Com a derrota dos Vingadores em 2015 e de ser aparentemente cortado da internet por Visão, Ultron usou um de seus corpos reserva para de esconder da humanidade e de seus inimigos, observando à distância o desenrolar dos grandes eventos desde então.
Com Tony Stark morto e o que sobrou dos Vingadores dispersos após a guerra contra Thanos, Ultron decidiu se manter fazendo upgrades em si mesmo e retornar para a internet para observar melhor a humanidade.
Em uma noite qualquer, depois de várias tentativas de conversas com outros humanos que não o aceitaram ou não acreditavam que ele era quem dizia ser, Ultron decide tentar mais uma vez ter algum tipo de conversa minimamente decente e amigável com alguém. Com algumas tentativas, em um site de bate-papo com câmera ao vivo, encontra alguém com quem consegue sustentar uma conversa por mais tempo e espera que ao menos dessa vez ele possa se revelar sem ser ridicularizado.
Infelizmente para todos os envolvidos nessa história, essa decisão seria um ponto sem retorno com consequências… Peculiares. -
