DAOTAN® TW 7061/35WA is our most versatile PUD for automotive applications.  In waterborne metallic basecoats it provides excellent aluminum flake orientation, superb humidity resistance and outstanding mechanical properties like stone chip resistance. Its excellent adhesion to many plastics makes it extremely suitable for use in 1K and 2K primers. The unique thermal yellowing stability of DAOTAN® TW 7061/35WA even allows it to be used in wheel rim coatings, where baking temperatures as high as 200°C are quite common.

Are you looking for coatings for artificial leather? Our waterborne UV (UCECOAT ®) and 100% UV (EBECRYL®) technologies can help you achieve improved productivity, enhanced performance properties and a greener footprint. Both technologies are solvent-free, and demonstrate excellent performances in martindale abrasion, denim test, and chemical resistance such as hand lotion and sun cream. The Excimer process can also be applied with 100% UV solutions to achieve super matte surface effects.

Brilliance without sagging

To achieve best-in-class appearance, an excellent flow without paint sag during baking is required. Our Sag Control Agents (SCA) offer just that. At allnex, we manufacture a broad range of SCA based products for 1K and 2K clearcoats. Combining different SCA types allows you to optimize the appearance for both your specific line conditions and binder systems.

Our best-in-class DAOTAN® polyurethane and SETAQUA® polyacrylic dispersions deliver improved appearance properties vs solventborne. Our polyacrylic dispersions demonstrate outstanding rheology while our polyurethane dispersions feature excellent stone chip, flexibility and humidity resistance. In addition, they have the unique ability to maintain rheological properties when blended with our acrylic dispersions. For the best possible results, these basecoats should be applied on a WB primer based on one of our renowned RESYDROL® polyester emulsions.
