After converting the solar voltage from direct current to alternating current, the voltage on the load was tried to be kept constant at 380V/50Hz. The 2-level inverter used here is controlled through 2DOFPI and the switching signals required for Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) are produced. Meanwhile, the harmonics on the voltage were attempted to be limited to below 5% in accordance with international standards. Thus, clean energy was tried to be supplied by setting the load voltage and harmonics. The system consists of solar panels, filters, an inverter, an inverter control unit, loads, and measurement elements. To model the environment, the sunlight level was altered continuously. The temperature was maintained constant at 250. The simulation study was executed in Matlab/Simulink environment.

greenhouse gases worldwide. Off-grid renewable energy
framework can be used to reduce dependency on traditional
energy assets. In addition, the Hybrid Renewable Energy
System (HRES) should be optimally sized to be sensitive to
sudden load changes and low cost. In this context, in the study,
3 different off-grid HRES scenarios were created for Zaferler
village, which consists of 220 households and 590 people, and
has an average electricity demand of 1,087.26 kWh/day and
162.15 kW electricity peak load for 2021, which is connected
to the town of Köyceğiz in Muğla province. By using the
HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable)
program, it has been analyzed whether the energy need of the
selected pilot region can be optimally met with HRES
according to 3 different scenarios. For off-grid HRES,
scenario 3 with fuel Cell and generator but no diesel generator
was evaluated as the most optimal result. As a result of the
optimization, the unit energy cost and net present value cost of
the system were calculated as $0.152 and $2.69 million. Here,
solar panel 78.9%, wind turbine 1.52%, biogas generator
1.15% and fuel cell generator 18.4% contribute to the total
energy needed. In general, the study sets a good example for
hybrid energy systems that can be established in the field of
renewable energy, showing that we have a great potential in
this field, especially as a country, and it encourages
researchers to work in this field.

fluid systems, manufacturing plants, communication networks, and defense industry operations. This study
employs PD, fractional order PD (FOPD), and two degrees of freedom PD (2DOFPD) controllers to manage
an example of a time-delayed system. In addition to analyzing the responses to unit step input, the system's
resilience to introduced disturbances was also tested and the results were examined. In addition, the controllers'
efficacy against errors was evaluated using performance indices such as Integral Square Error (ISE), Integral
of Absolute Value of Error (IAE), Integral of Time-weighted Absolute Error (ITAE), and Integral of Timeweighted
Square Error (ITSE). Additionally, these controllers were recalibrated through precise adjustments,
and a subsequent performance comparison was conducted. The simulation of the system was fully conducted
in the Matlab/Simulink environment, and the results are presented for further discussion.

and environmental issues. Owing to its plentiful renewable energy resources, Turkey is
advantageously positioned to fulfill its electricity requirements. In rural locations where the
energy grid is either unavailable or excessively costly, Hybrid Energy Systems (HRES) integrating
multiple energy sources are employed. While HRES offer an economical solution custom-fit to
distinct power needs and techno-economic circumstances, the aspects of their management,
sizing, and component selection present notable difficulties. This study aims to develop, simulate,
and evaluate a hybrid system composed of wind, solar, biomass gasifier, and fuel cell
components. It also addresses optimization algorithms related to the management of energy flow
and optimal sizing of renewable energy sources. In HRES, the surplus energy undergoes
conversion into hydrogen, which is then stored and harnessed in fuel cells during instances of
overproduction. The primary objective in the optimization process is to minimize the Annual
Total Cost (ACS). The decision variables include the power output of solar panels and wind
turbines, as well as the quantity of hydrogen tanks. A hybrid optimization method, based on the
Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm, is implemented to determine the optimal dimensions of
the HRES components. Consumption and weather data from 2022 are employed to design a
hybrid system capable of fulfilling all energy demands at the lowest possible cost. Simulations
suggest that the proposed off-grid hybrid energy system is the most cost-effective choice for the
selected location. The ABC algorithm identifies the optimal system configuration, which
incorporates a 358.08 kW wind turbine, a 2551.69 kW solar panel, and 636 hydrogen storage tanks.
The system's annual total cost is $3.1189x106, its net present cost is also $3.1189x106, and its
levelized cost of energy is 1.2300 $/kWh. The energy produced by the system is entirely
renewable, with 53.53% from solar, 0.57% from wind, 12.23% from fuel cells, and 33.67% from a
biomass generator. The optimization algorithm was implemented using the MATLAB 2022b
simulation software
