    Ultrasonic Motors are drive systems used in a lot of industrial applications notably because of their advantages i.e. no audible noise, compact size and fast response. Therefore, this technology has been chosen for the design of a new type of actuator for the electronic opening of doors. When the electronic identification system detects an authorized user, the coupling balls (lock) are removed from the stator by the motion of the rotor which opens the door.

    ABSTRACT In this paper, the magnetic coupling between an induction cooker and a metallic pot is studied for various winding topologies. Effects of the winding orientation on the power transfer capability and on the emitted magnetic field under the cooker are discussed and compared. A novel topology inspired by permanent magnet Halbach array is proposed. This consists in coupling in both horizontal and vertical directions and to create an asymmetric field in order to reduce the emission under the cooker.

    ABSTRACT An haptic tactile interface (HTI) feedback device is presented. Its finite element (FE) model is presented and explained. Comparison between FE predictions and measurements are performed in order to validate the modeling approach. Finally a functional demonstrator is built allowing users to feel a new experience of touch control electronic devices.

    ABSTRACT Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous développons une électronique de commande et de puissance spécialement dédiée à l’alimentation d’un moteur piézoélectrique à onde progressive. Dans un précédent projet, a été réalisé un échantillon fonctionnel à un degré de liberté compatible avec l’imagerie par résonance magnétique fonctionnelle destinée à une application pour la recherche en neurosciences. Mais, en voulant réaliser un système à plusieurs degrés de liberté, l’échantillon fonctionnel existant doit être amélioré.
