Motivation

Reserve number and band number IDs already have properties linking them to their INAC page. Tribal councils have a distinct number/URL system and should have a similar property as it serves as a primary reference for registration data, member nations, etc. Wikiwonk86 (talk) 22:36, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

  • Please note band number (P2865) and note that eg 1049 CARRIER-SEKANI TRIBAL COUNCIL includes 6 bands listed by their band number. So we have the "child property" (band) but not the "parent property" (tribal council): that's not right! --Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 11:29, 5 June 2023 (UTC)

  @Vladimir Alexiev Using "number" because it's what's written on the website seems to me like a reason. If you changed it to "identification number" I would like to hear why you consider that label to be the best.
