Dry in the East; Active Pattern for the West

Tranquil and near seasonable weather pattern for most of the eastern U.S. expected this weekend. Along the coastline, continuous onshore flow may bring risk of rip currents and coastal flooding. For the west, a strong cold front will increase winds and fire weather concerns, along with heavy mountain snows.
