Personal Counselling Appointments

University can be a stressful time. Consider making an appointment with one of our personal counsellors. Counselling is a private & confidential, non-judgmental, space to talk with a mental health professional about anything that is on your mind or impacting your quality of life. You do not need to have a mental illness or be in a crisis situation to talk to a counsellor. Counselling can help relieve distress, improve mood, build resilience, and enhance self-esteem.

The HCC offers daily same-day personal counselling appointments and book ahead availability for all eligible students.

Appointments can be made in two (2) ways:

• By calling 905-828-5255, or
• In-person at the clinic (DV 1152)

New Clinic location: The HCC has moved locations from DV 1123A to DV 1152. Come see us at our newly renovated and expanded space!

Telus Health Student Support

Telus Health Student Support (THSS) provides University of Toronto students with immediate and/or ongoing confidential, 24-hour support for any school, health, or general life concern at no cost to students. You can call or chat with a counsellor directly from your phone whenever, wherever you are for a range of concerns. Students who use THSS still have access to existing campus and community mental health services; THSS is an additional support service.
