The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Olaf Scholz, and the President of the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Nangolo Mbumba are hosting a Summit of the Future Global Call live event on 12 September 2024, where world leaders will express their aspirations for the Pact for the Future before the Summit.

The Global Call will begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT, featuring opening remarks from H.E. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Nangolo Mbumba, President of the Republic of Namibia, and H.E. Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The event will be moderated by Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming. Pre-recorded video statements from Heads of State or Government will be broadcast starting at 11:00 a.m
