Would be happy to have him along on one of my mountain grouse hunts. 9 miles walking with an 1800 foot climb and decent in rough country with my lab as a companion. Usually come home with a bird or two but not really important. Beats the hell out of a visit to the gym. It’s about the effort, the joy of watching my dog, and the beautiful surroundings. Nothing to do with being a man….

I am trying to figure out if this guy is searching out events to ridicule what he sees as rednecks. If so, he could learn some lessons from Sacha Cohen's Borat to heighten the hilarity. Yet, the timing of this schtick and the placement with The Free Press seem incongruent. He is 3-4 yrs late to the game. And, The Free Press is paying him to offend subscribers like me, educated Trump despisers who love TFP for taking on the craziness of the leftie mob, which, btw, is just as insane as the Q-anon conspiracy crowd
Really? I just don't know why the people on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts tolerate those heathens who live inland. Did you know that they have the right to vote just like the rest of us? What is this world coming to? GAWD!!!!

I think we would like each other more if we spent some time together doing things like this - stuff that's a part of life for someone else, and that might make us a little uncomfortable. See the humanness in each other.

How was I "virtue signaling" by quoting the author of the ariticle you asked me to read? If she thought the claims of that book were "theory" and his "conclusions" how is that virtue signaling? I am no longer on any social media because people like you resort to insults rather than having a civil conversation. I will give you the last word.
I enjoyed your video. Entertaining. Yes, hunting dogs (and hunting) are a real thing to most of us in the middle of the country. I am glad you had the opportunity to see how the middle of the country lives life... and maybe made some friends along the way. Nice reporting. Thanks.
Right when i really like to read the Free Press over the past month, you publish some effete divisive insult of Americans. A very dear gay friend in Denver four years ago moved to Arkansas because the "scene" was just too intense in Denver. A similar, but retired African American friend who migrated from LA to Denver six years before, with the same complaint, left last year for Portugal. Sadly, most of the elite cities of ten years ago, are much less os today, but their elites keep trying to sell virtue like some Ivy League hags.
Mr. Kawaller is indeed a funny fellow possessing a disarming charm and seemingly genuine curiosity, such tactics perhaps the best chance of reconciling this divided nation. But I do wonder if his earnest personality and inquisitive nature would be so well received by the "progressive" dogmatists should he transgress any number of their ever expanding sacred tenants. All in all a cheering endorsement of the American spirit (says the admittedly squeamish vegetarian ).
