IMPACT OF CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT ON
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF BEED STUDENTS
AT NORTHERN ZAMBALES COLLEGE, INC.
ABSTRACT
• Thisstudy investigates the impact of the classroom
environment on the academic performance of
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students
at Northern Zambales College Inc.
ABSTRACT
• Utilizing
a quantitative research approach, data were
gathered through structured questionnaires
distributed to a purposive sample of BEED students.
ABSTRACT
• Thestudy examined various elements of the
classroom environment, including physical setting,
seating arrangement, lighting, ventilation, and
classroom management practices.
ABSTRACT
• Statistical
analysis was employed to
determine the relationship between these
environmental factors and students'
academic performance.
ABSTRACT
• Findings
revealed a significant correlation between a
conducive classroom environment and improved
academic outcomes. The results underscore the
importance of maintaining an optimal learning space
to support student achievement.
ABSTRACT
• Thisresearch provides valuable insights for
educators and administrators aiming to
enhance academic performance through
effective classroom design and
management.
CONCLUSIONS
• Basedon the summary of the investigations conducted, the researchers have
concluded that:
• 1. The respondents are typical female in her young adult called
“Adolescents” with outstanding general weighted average (grade) between
1.51 – 1.25.
• 2. The respondents assessed “Agreed” on the responses on physical
classroom environment, social environment, emotional environment,
instructional factors, and specific student population as a dimension on the
specific aspects of the classroom environment that influences the academic
performance of student-respondents
• 3. There is no significant difference on the specific aspects of classroom
environment that influences the academic performance of student-
respondents through physical classroom environment, social environment,
emotional environment, instructional factors, and specific student population
when grouped according to their age and sex.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Recommendations
• Based on the summary of the investigations conducted and the conclusions
arrived at, the researchers have offered the following recommendations based on salient
findings obtained in the study.
• 1. School administration should ensure well-ventilated, well-lit, and ergonomic
classroom setups to support focus and comfort of the student and promote peer
collaboration and teacher-student rapport through group activities and open
communication channels.
• 2. Teacher should adapt new methods to subtle non-demographic differences (e.g.,
learning styles and cultural backgrounds).
• 3. Students should encourage peer mentoring where high achievers help classmates
thrive in similar environments.
• 4. Finally, future researchers could extend the range of study to cover the specific
aspects of classroom environment that influences the academic performance of student-
respondents.
