COMPUTING
Cloud computing refers to the delivery
of computing services like storage,
processing power, databases,
networking, software, and more, over
the internet which is the cloud.
Some of the companies that provide
cloud services are:
Google Cloud Platform
IBM Cloud
Microsoft Azure
Cloud Components
1) Clients : Clients are simply the device end user
interacts with, to access the cloud to manage their
information. These can include desktops, laptops,
mobile phones.
2) Data Centre : It is a server or collection of server,
housing the application you subscribe to.
3) Distributed Server : Like the data center , these are
the servers you access via the cloud but they might be
located anywhere around the world.
Cloud Computing Models
• Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS): A virtualized
computing resources over the internet. Examples:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS): Offers hardware and
software tools over the internet. Examples: Google App
Engine and Heroku.
• Software-as-a-Service (SaaS): Software applications
over the internet, usually on a subscription
basis. Examples: Zoom, Microsoft 365,etc.

Servers, storage, and applications, available to the general
public over the Internet.
Eg:AWS, Microsoft azure, Google cloud platform ,etc.

• Easily available
2.Private Cloud
Server built exclusively for a single enterprise that isn't
accessible by general public.
Eg : Servers of financial institution, schools ,etc.
• Private infrastructure
• High cost
• Highly secure
