COURSE DESCRIPTION
Education laws and regulations promote accountability while
simultaneously safeguarding the rights of teachers and

while establishing standards and goals that hold schools
accountable to students and the community. Accountability
through policy goals enables schools to deliver high-quality
education.
This course will teach students how educational laws
regulate the rights and obligations of all stakeholders in the
education sector, providing a clear framework for teachers'
duty as professionals while ensuring harmonious
relationships and cooperation among everyone involved. It
also covers governance, instructions/regulations, limitations
and the application of legal notions in educational practice.
