Florence Nightingale
She identified the need to gather data a on

1986-1987: The Society got registered under the society's
Act-XXI of 1860 with registrar of societies, Delhi
Administration (Certificate No. S/18421, dated and Dec.
1987).
1988: First National Congress: at AIIMS, Delhi supported by
Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, WHO, USAID, UNICEF and
VHAI. September 16-17,
1989: Second National Congress on the theme, “Nurses & MCH
Services” Held at SKIMS, Srinagar, J&K from 13-14 Oct. 1989.
