The Origins OF Martial Arts

Martial arts originated from spiritual practices like Buddhism that aimed to strengthen both the spirit through meditation and the body through self-defense. The spiritual origins most often mentioned is that


related to Buddhism. More specially, is a certain form
of Buddhism that the Indians called dhyani, in China
called ch’an, in Koreans called sun and the Japanese
called zen.
