Must, Have To, Mustn't, Don't

MUSTN’T, DON’T HAVE Unit 9

TO
MUST V.S HAVE TO + VERB
INFINITIVE
Both modal verbs express obligation or necessity
( двата глаголи искажуваат обврска или неопходност)
E.g
I MUST study hard this semester. (морам да учам напорно овoј семестар)

I HAVE TO be at school on time. (морам да бидам на училиште на време)


* Notice that after MUST and HAVE TO the verb is in its infinitive form

We use DON’T/DOESN’T HAVE TO  to show that there is no obligation.
You can do something if you want to but it's not compulsory.

E.g You DON’T HAVE TO go now. You can stay a bit longer.
