What is Team Sports?
Team sport is an activity in which individuals
or group, on the same team, work together
to accomplish an ultimate goal which is
usually to win. This is can be done in a
number of ways such as outscoring the
opposing team.
“Brief History”.
The history of sports probably extends as far back as the
military training existence, to prove themselves fit and useful
for army requirements, the best been chosen to serve and
fight for the power in command.
Team sports had most probably been developed to train and
prove the capability to fight and work together as a team
(army).

development of the individual.

attain results desired. The specific activities
include the following:
Forecasting – to estimate and predict future
conditions, anticipate problems and identity
new opportunities.
Developing Objective – to determine the
results desired or expected outcomes.
Programming and scheduling – to establish
the major action steps to achieve the
objectives and to estimate the time sequence
necessary for each action step.
Budgeting – to allocate the resources so as to
make the most effective use of such resources
available.
Developing procedures – to make used of
methods, techniques or strategies that can
maximize output.
Developing policies – to implement the decisions
in the form of policies or guidelines to avoid
being repetitive of questions or instructions.
Organizing :
This refers to the work to arrange and relate
the work to be performed effectively by
people. The specific activities are:
Developing Organizational Structure – to
established a sound, logical organizational
structure to get things done efficiently with a
minimum input and maximized results.
Delegating – to entrust responsibility and
authorithy and to established accountability
so that there is a greater freedom among the
members of the group in using iniative and
judgement.
