The recycling meaning
Transforming material objects used in new products for
consumption.
From the 1980s, the production of packaging and
disposable products has increased significantly, as well as
waste production, especially in developed countries.
The importance of recycling
Recycling
helps extend the life and
usefulness of something that has
already served its initial purpose by
producing something that is useable.
Recycling has a lot of benefits and
importance not only to us humans but
especially to our planet.
Benefits of Recycling
Reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills and
incinerators;
Conserves natural resources such as timber, water,
and minerals;
Prevents pollution by reducing the need to collect
new raw materials;
Saves energy;
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions that contribute
to global climate change;
Helps sustain the environment for future
generations;

Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly
without loss in quality or purity something no other
food and beverage packaging option can claim.
Recycled glass can be used to make a wide range of
everyday products and some that are completely
unexpected, including:
-new bottles and jars
- glass wool insulation for homes, which also
helps with energy efficiency.

Recycling batteries
Each
battery placed in the bright red
recycling box will be taken apart and
many of the materials will be recovered
and used to make new batteries or
something else.
Recycling batteries is good for the
environment. It keeps them out of
landfill, where heavy metals may leak
into the ground when the battery casing
corrodes, causing soil and water
pollution.
Used Cooking Oil
Recycling
Cooking
oil can be recycled into
biodiesel, but otherwise should be
disposed of properly as putting it in the
trash or down the drain can be
dangerous.
